What charter options are available?

Sonder offers private 4-day and 7 to 10-day sailing charters throughout Saint Vincent and the Grenadines. Choose a captain-only charter for up to six guests or a captain and chef charter for up to four guests. Both options give you the freedom to enjoy the islands at your own pace aboard your own private sailing catamaran.

What is included with a captain and chef charter?

Captain and chef charters include an experienced captain and chef, meals prepared on board, snacks and non-alcoholic beverages. Guests provide their preferred alcoholic beverages and can, of course, choose to dine ashore along the way. Meals and drinks ashore are not included.

What is included with a captain only charter?

With a captain only charter an experienced captain is provided, and you can take care of your own food and drinks. You can provision the boat yourself, dine ashore, or do a mix of both. If you prefer, we can help arrange provisioning for an additional fee.

Can we customize our itinerary?

Absolutely! It's a private charter, so your sailing adventure can be built around whatever you're interested in. Snorkeling, secluded beaches, exploring different islands, or enjoying time ashore. Your captain helps plan the itinerary around your preferences.

Where can our charter begin and end?

Most charters are round trip and can begin and end in Bequia, Blue Lagoon in St. Vincent, or Young Island Cut in St. Vincent. For guests looking to explore farther south, we also offer a one-way charter through the Grenadines to Grenada with an additional fee.

What should we pack?

Pack light and bring soft-sided bags rather than hard suitcases. Bring swimsuits, light and comfortable clothing, non-spray sunscreen, any personal medications, and flip-flops or sandals for going ashore. You will be barefoot while aboard Sonder. Towels and snorkeling gear are provided, so you can leave those at home.

What happens if the weather affects our charter?

Safety always comes first aboard Sonder. If weather conditions are deemed unsafe by the captain, we may need to adjust the itinerary, reschedule, or cancel the charter. If we must cancel due to unsafe weather conditions, guests will be offered the option to reschedule or receive a refund. Please see our Cancellation Policy for full details.

How do we get there?

Most international guests arrive through Argyle International Airport (SVD) on St. Vincent, with direct and connecting flights available from several major cities and Caribbean hubs. Guests beginning their charter in Bequia may also fly into J.F. Mitchell Airport (BQU), with regional connections available through neighboring Caribbean islands such as Barbados and Grenada. Bequia can also be reached by ferry from St. Vincent.

Once your charter is booked, we are happy to help you plan the easiest arrival option based on your travel itinerary and where your charter begins.

Is Wi-Fi available aboard Sonder?

Yes! Sonder is equipped with Starlink Wi-Fi, allowing you to stay connected while exploring the Grenadines. Whether you want to check in with family, share photos from your adventure, or handle a little work while away, Wi-Fi is available aboard.
